On Top of Old Smokie! - Rockport, Maine
Okay...so it wasn't actually the smokies...BUT it was a fun time and muchly needed. I have been very discouraged for the past few weeks. Seems it has been one heartache right after another...both personally and business wise. As many of you know...I am probably one of the most positive and upbeat people you will ever meet. I always see the good in everyone and I don't hold grudges...ever. It's just not humanly possible for me. I have a very giving and caring heart and I love and would anything for my family, friends and even complete strangers. I feel so incredibly fortunate in my life and I thank God every day for all that I have. I think I got majoring burnt out...and it took a series of recent events for me to realize it. Having my niece and nephews here yesterday and part of today made me see how much I need to take time to relax and do what I want to do. Things can wait. I need to take care of ME for once. So I took the kiddies up one of my absolute favorite hiking trails here in the mid-coast. Gorgeous views of course and some yummy blueberries that were surprisingly ripe...VERY early this year. I got some great pictures of the kids and I thought I would share =) One thing that hasn't changed...I still love adorable smiles and capturing them with my camera!
