Today I did a senior shoot with Ryan at the Rockland Breakwater. Ryan is a 2011 Graduate of Rockland District High School. It was an absolutely gorgeous fall day in the mid-coast! Sunny...warm and a very light breeze. Perfect day for a shoot. I would definitely add the breakwater as one of my favorite shooting locations...especially at low tide. It was a late afternoon shoot, and the light was just incredible. I feel so incredibly blessed to be able to do shoots by the ocean! As always...it was hard to pick my favorites...there were just so many good ones =) I narrowed it down though and here are my favorite shots!

Chad Ridge's "Right Choice Challenge" Kick-Off
Today was the big news all of Rockland has been waiting months to hear about!! Our very own local Chad Ridge made the formal announcement that he did not make it on "The Biggest Loser." However, he has instead decided to devote himself to inspiring the local community to join with him in his own personal quest to lose the weight himself. Chad's "Right Choice Challenge" began it's official kick-off at the Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce this morning with Chad doing an official weigh in. Chad announced his goals for the entire community to also make right choices and get healthy. He is inviting anyone and everyone to join him rain or shine at 6:15am Mon-Fri on the Rockland boardwalk, 12:00 noon beginning at the chamber building and walking down and then back up Main St, and will also be announcing monthly "community challenges." The first challenge is a hike up the road trail of Mt Battie in Camden to the summit on Sunday, November 7th at 9am. I feel so incredibly honored to be Chad's official photographer for this adventure! Chad has such a caring and giving heart for everyone around him and has already become such an inspiration to so many people locally. I have seen many local businesses reaching out to support Chad in any way that they can and I hope to see many more jump on board in the future as well. I encourage you to regularly visit Chad's website to keep up with his progress. chadridge.com

If you haven't already had the pleasure of meeting Chad, I encourage you to do so, he will forever inspire you with his heart of gold! Here are some of my favorite shots from today...just the first in many more awesome events as E Stanley Photography continues to follow Chad in his adventure! So stayed tuned! =)
